[So. “I was in fear for my life” is a get out of jail free card for cops who kill civilians but a Black man in Georgia being pursued by shotgun-wielding White guys has an obligation to forego self-defense for submission?]

Will they play the “stand your ground” card too? Must be an interpretation that permits one to need to pursue a pedestrian in a truck to feel threatened.]

Mr. Rubin portrayed Mr. McMichael as a selfless helper, saying he had felt a “duty” to protect his neighborhood, which had suffered a series of property crimes before the afternoon of Feb. 23, 2020, when the killing occurred.

[Selfless helper but not a cop. How many “selfless helpers” does it take to constitute a lynch mob? Apparently two will do.]
