How on earth can this race still be so close?

If you’ve spent any time looking at the polls lately, you might be feeling a little perplexed.

Trump’s debate performance was horrid. He keeps insisting that Haitian migrants are eating pets in Ohio. He refuses to denounce Mark Robinson, the Republican candidate for governor in North Carolina who called himself a “black Nazi” on a pornographic website.

He’s been accompanied in public repeatedly by right-wing conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer. He said Jewish people will be responsible if he loses the election. He keeps talking about abortion, the issue on which he’s most vulnerable.

Trump even proclaimed his hate for Taylor Swift!

So how can it be that Trump has taken the lead in Arizona and remains ahead in Georgia, two swing states he lost to Biden in 2020? How can he have a narrow lead over Harris in North Carolina? How can more voters view Trump favorably now than they did several months ago, when he was leading Biden?

I obviously don’t believe that the American people are just racist or stupid. I’m also not convinced that the polls are completely reliable.

One problem, clearly, is the mainstream media. Outlets like CNN and the New York Times are so terrified of being accused of “liberal bias” that they’re bending over backward to make Trump seem like a normal Republican politician.

Unfortunately, with just 39 days left until Election Day, we’re not going to fix the media. We simply need to go around them. That’s why I’m so excited about the incredible results we’re seeing on our latest persuasion videos, which have been moving people’s opinions by 14 to 18 points in testing.

So forget the polls. Ignore the mainstream media. We need to focus all our energy on the things we can do to defeat Trump, including getting our latest persuasion videos — which are some of the most effective that we’ve ever tested — in front of as many people as possible all across social media

It’s time to bypass the mainstream media.
